Theres really not a whole lot to tell. I grew up listening to heavy metal and hard rock throughout the 80's and 90's. The older I got, the louder I liked it. Even to this day I search for the heaviest music I can find. I got my first guitar when I was 13 which was a bottom of the barrel, unforgiving, nightmare of a guitar called a Mako. If any of you remember one of those you'll understand what I mean. I taught myself how to play by ear and to this day have never taken a single lesson. I hardly waste time anymore playing cover songs, I rather just write my own music my own way. Strangely enough, I dont play music as loud as I listen to. I prefer playing the more heavy, intricate patterned style of metal. The kind of sound which is heard in such bands as Megadeth, Pantera and Slayer. The 3 cord bands do nothing for me to say the least, which is, in my opinion, why I hate just about every band on the radio today with the exception of a few that still realize there can be more played than 3 powercords on a guitar.
My first B.C. Rich was a n.j. series virgin that has been jacked up to the heavens with custom switches and pickups. I fell in love with the guitar and its sound and have been buying B.C. Rich's ever since. My biggest influence is without a doubt the band W.A.S.P.. Over the years they have created some amazing peices. I try to think and write along the same line, without sounding like them. Other than that, theres not much else to tell. Everyday is a new idea and fragment of a song and I just go from there. James is truley one of the best lead guitarist I've ever played with for this style of music and without his technique and style, my rythm tracks would be lost out there somewhere. I hope you all enjoy the page and the music we post. Thank you.
